Spamming - Whether in the form of regular posts or OOC, constant spamming is not tolerated. Please keep in mind that constant, pointless replies will result in punishment. If you have something you need to discuss to that extent, then please, take it to the PMs. The definition of spamming is also applied to posting in another persons RP thread with no intent of joining.
Images - When posted on this forum, images must be appropriate and PG13. If any inappropriate images are discovered on this forum the person responsible will receive a warning and if it continues you may receive a temporary or permanent ban.
Flaming - This is no place for inflammatory discussions. No in depth political/religious arguments, no threats, no bullying, no vulgar insults. Disgusting behavior is not tolerated here in an way. I personally have thoughts and opinions some might find utterly offensive. That doesn't mean I'm going to share them here and start an argument. So keep all that in mind before running your mouth.
Advertising - Those who wish to promote their own forum in the plug board should know that if we can't link back with you or have to create an account to do so, your post will be deleted on the spot. Any advertisements not forum related or showing explicit content in the ad will also be deleted. Once your ad falls into the second page you may bump it back to first, or create a new ad, so long as we can do the same with you.
Stay In Character - If you have a question or disagreement with the participants of a particular roleplay then take it to private messages or create an OOC thread in the Members Tavern board. Don't add out of character comments to an in game rpg thread. Remember every time you do that, staff has to take the time to delete them all.

Combat - To put it simply, be detailed with your actions in combat. Never assume your attacks will hit their target and always give the other person an opportunity to respond. Never attempt to control another characters actions or reactions, this is god modding and that's not tolerated here.
Romance - When it comes to gameplay, romance is actually encouraged. As it adds a unique dynamic to the story. However try to keep the certain aspects of romance in the bedroom and out of the roleplay itself. We don't want in depth detail about how two lovers spent the night together.
NPC - All non player characters in any roleplay will be under the control of the person who first introduced them into the roleplay, as well as anyone they specifically give permission to control them.
Fluid Time - When it comes to roleplay, we operate under the rules of fluid time. You can have multiple rp threads with the same character going on at different times and different places. But these threads need to be a connected timeline. One must lead to another. This way we maintain a linear storyline for your character and don't venture absurdly far into the past and future. If you open a 2nd roleplay thread then we recommend this encounter should occur no more then one month in the future or past of your previous thread. It may help to discuss with other members and staff about how your character could best transfer from one time and place to another.
Absence - We're all adults here, we get it, real life comes first and we will do everything we can to help you prepare ahead of time. But in order to do that, staff needs some kind of notice if you plan on having an extended absence from the forum. That way we can assist in helping you wrap up any ongoing RP threads before you have to leave.
Characters - Members are allowed to have have as many characters as they think they can handle. However each character must have its own separate account with the same name as that character. Staff will be reviewing all pending characters and will offer suggestions on how to keep them balanced.
Character Death - We choose to go by a "Thematic Death" policy here. If your character has completed their full story arc or you are ready to kill them off for whatever reason, then it shall be so. We prefer a thematic ending for our characters that fits well with their own personal stories. However this also means that forcing a character death against someone's will is not appropriate. Close calls, dramatic escapes, faking ones demise, all is possible... Until the story ends.
